first_imgFLASH FLOODING IS beginning to subside in Cork after heavy rain hit the county.Met Éireann’s rainfall radar shows a heavy concentration of rain across the south of the country since early this afternoon.Cork city centre reported flooding between Michael Collins Bridge and Brian Boru Bridge after the rain coincided with the River Lee’s high tide.Met Éireann has warned that the heavy thundery showers will continue across Munster and also the Midlands this evening.
